Continental Express, Inc Another upset customer using a not so professional mover. Duped by low price. Fremont California

Hired this (clowns) a few weeks ago company to move my furniture and gave a estimate cost of 3 person to move my furniture at the most $370 + cost of boxes. They came and told me that it will take 4 people to move the 2 furniture. It just so happened that they have the 4th person. This should have clued me to stop there. I am not sure what the recourse will be. But we continue on. Then they gave me several papers to sign to protect mostly themselves.

At the arrival they did not want to unload the furniture until we pay first. This then cost $760. I was very suprise at the price. They unpack the furniture and one of them was damaged badly even though they wrapped it up with cellophane, boxes, padding and several rolls of tape.

I showed it to them and they said it was there before. But both of us inspected the furniture and only minor scratches were noted. They also damage the wall on the hallways. I called the claims department and made a complaint. As of now it is not resolved. This is a very simple move and it should not be this bad. Do not use this company. I checked other ratings online and all of them bad. I should have checked it before hiring them.
