Convergent Outsourcing contacted me indicating that they were trying to collect $386.12 for an outstanding debt with Dish-Network.  Convergent refused to explain what the debt was for.  They were rude and evasive. 

I contacted Dish-Network and confirmed the account had been closed with a zero balance over three years ago. It is my opinion that Convergent is a debt collection agency fraudulently attempting to collect on accounts that have been closed and satisfied.

Convergent Outsourcing Inc. Galaxy Asset Purchasing, LLCUnited Credit National Bank I got a call from Convergent saying I owed THEM $3,753.23; when I asked them what for, they said it was for a bank account I had in 1995 that I took a loan from the internet on. After I asked them to send the paperwork, I did get it, but I called them and they said now it was for a debit card from a United Credit National Bank. I told them I had never had an account with this place and have NEVER owed such an amount to anyone. They wanted me to pay 60% to settle the account, and I told them I wanted to file a dispute, and they said once I got the documents, THEN I would have to pay the amount!!!! Unbelievable!! Wixom or Renton - there are three addresses on her Michigan or Washington

palisades collection convergent outsourcing, inc I recived a bill today in my name but with my x husbands last name spelled wrong for an at&t bill, I have never had at&t service, I called to dispute it & all I got was them wanting to confirm who I was on a recording & wanting payment for over $400.00 !! Then I tried to prompt it to let me talk to someone, & a recording came on that only said the name of the company & it hung up on me, I called at&t & they had no record whatsoever of me being a customer of theirs.
