I recieved a lovely letter in the mail stating I owed this company a super large amount of money, but if I respond with-in so many days they would be willing to "settle for 20% of your total balance due"... Well, I don't know this company and have no idea what this is about. I also check my credit history regularly and know this place is NOT on it. This is an obvious scam. I remember something like this last year, but it was not as elaborate. They (the scam company) actually took the time to try and make this look even more legit by making the letter with color borders and sending a payment form. Also a sheet that reads what they will require from me/FACTS and why-type of thing. Then the other side of the second sheet of paper, they have "Who we are" and "What we do", can't forget the "Definitions" or the "Other Important Information"!
