I am a little confused on why this is Countrywide's fault. If the blame should be put anywhere it should be placed on the county assessor, Countrywide has nothing to do with the cost of your taxes or homeowners insurance.

When you have part of a company in California and part in Texas and 800 people sitting in a phone room not typing the correct info into a file (if they bother to make notes at all) we all get screwed. This month it took them more than two weeks to post my payment, and then they want late fees for their failure. Check lawsuits/class action suits in your state. There's one against this company in several states. If you state is filing one, join it. If not, start one. It's more than possible dozens of people will jump on the bandwagon.
