I purchased 2 new handsets from Cricket 6 months ago. The handsets were under warranty for 30 days and right from the very first day myself and the person I purchased the second handset for began to experience problems with the phones. I made Cricket aware of the problems we were experiencing while the phones were still under warranty.
We could not stay on a call for any longer than 2 to 3 minutes without the phones hanging up on us. When it came to txt messaging we would get the same message 5 or 6 times or we not get our messages at all, or they would continue to send for longer than 5 minutes or we would not get our txt message for sometimes up to an hour after they were sent if at all.
We took our phones back to the store where they were purchased and explained the problems we were having, they told us to call customer service, customer service would tell us to go back to the store where they were purchased, we talked to a coporate guy who said to come back another day and he told us to call customer service again and it has been going on like this for the last 6 months.
All we get is a huge run around with no straight answers and problems with the phones that were under warrenty for the first 30 days. The second handset I purchased had 3 of the buttons go out and not function properly 6 months latter when they were aware of the problems we had been having and all we were told was to purchase a new phone.
As a result we have had to cancel our service with Cricket and we have had to purchase new phones and new plans with a different provider.
