Cricket Wireless' legal team goes for drinks with state attorney generals and is afraid to have open cases when meeting. All Attorney General Complaints get what the customer is asking for. Really glad to hear that they at least listen to someone.  I have been dealing with thier poor customer service for almost a year now, and have yet to get satisfaction.  I have dealt with complaints with the BBB, Channel 11 Call For Action (local TV staion), and numerous different online reporting agencies.  Nothing seems to get to them all.

They straight out ripped me off when they merged Cricket with AT&T.  They changed from a CDMA system to a GSM system, but did not seem to have any knowledge of what that exactly meant.  They were selling phones in the local Cricket store, to go with the new 4G LTE system.  They sold me a phone that was supposed to offer 4G speeds on the new system.  I bought a phone in their store, a ZTE Source, that was supposed to work on the new "GSM" system.  It was in fact a "CDMA" phone, and when the new system came into play, the phone did not work.  When I attempted to alleviate the problem, they simply told me that I had to buy a new phone.  SERIOUSLY???  I am expected to pay $220.00 for THEIR mistake?

 

Well, after repeated attempts to correct the issue, I was told "so sue us"!  O.o  The best I got was a canned answer from their legal guru's.  I switched to a BETTER service in Metro PCS/T-Mobile.  I am still upset that I spent $220.00 on a phone, just to have it stop working six months later.  They have lost a customer in me, for life, as well as anyone I may influence in their decision to buy a phone/service.  I am also still actively trying to find any way possible to stop them from ripping others off in the future.  If it takes an Attorney General complaint I am all for doing it, and taking the matter into a courtroom if that's what it takes to get these lowlifes to stop their corporate greed ripping off policies.  Spread the word, Cricket is the type of lowlife scumbags that we need to put out of business for the better of all of us.  ;)
