Cross Check took $450 on a $150 check lied threatened massive incompetence did everything wrong Rohnert Park California

I paid my dentist $150 for a cleaning. 3 Months later I get a letter saying my check was no good and my credit will be affected if I dont pay Cross Check. I called my dentist and he said that was his check service so I called CrossCheck. They said I had to pay TransUnion and once I did that the check would never be cashed. They also waived the TransUnion Check fee of $16.
The next day after I paid they took the money out of my checking account twice. It took me 5 hours of calls to get my money back from these incompetent morons.

When I finally got the check they kept the $16 fee that they waived. What a bunch of crooks. My bank also told me the check was fine and Cross Check entered it wrong. I am 40 and I have never bounced a check. This was an awful experience. Stay clear of CrossCheck.
