I've never seen anything like them before. These people go after you even AFTER you have paid them. I wrote a check, it bounced, a woman named Lori Spencer called me a week later. Right off the bat, she was rude, threatening, and just down right mean. Told me I had to send the money including a $25.00 fee thru Western Union. I said I would mail a money order. She said I couldn't, it had to be Western Union and within 2 hours or I would be reported to a Credit Reporting Agency for check fraud. Click. I hung up on her. Later that day I received a letter from CrossCheck with a return envelope to send a money order. huh, imagine that... Next day I received a call from Todd, taunting and threatening me. Click. I hung up on him. A few days later I sent the money order. The day after they received it, the origninal check was run through again and cashed. Now these people have been paid twice. Of course I called CrossCheck about it and they acknowledged the double payment, but in order to get my money back I should go to my bank and get proof the check was paid and send it to CrossCheck. Now....it could just be me, but if you know you were overpaid, why should I provide proof? Click. I hung up! It's been 30 days now, I have sent them a letter about the situation, I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I've posted fraud reports on several websites, and now I'm going to write to the Attorney General. Click. I'm through!
