I am Renea feel free to call me anytime I have no reason to lie about the following statement.

I applied online through a website called car.com for finance.  The website connects you with a car dealership that can offer financing to you.  Once you apply the car dealership will email you letting you know you are approved for finance.  However my story went like this; I first responded to the email I received from email address vlittle@mcdavid.com.  Signed as followed by a so called person named Venessa Little, McDavid Nissan, Finance Manager, (713) 943-488,1(713) 948-3038 fax. I explained that I have a car nut I will not be trading it in.  I then called the number listed for Venessa Little but once again when you ask for her she is not available so the person that ansers the phone begins to tell you she is busy but I can help you. She then asks for your income and tells ME that you are approved for zero (0) down and up to  34,000.  I print the cars out that I desire to look at and then get someone to drive me from Galveston, TX to Houston, TX in 4pm traffic.

When I arrive they page  the so called Venessa however she does show up, instead a dirty unprofessional female shows up and says she is Venessas assistant.  Next a salesman by the name of Ernest Pope calls me in his office and tells me we need a co-signer, the bank wont approve you without one and if you dont have one we will approve you for 8-$10,000 the whole scam starts then so I get nad and he tries to explain everything except what they said on the phone and email.  You really have to be careful the verbiage they use I know has is twisted to get you there and then they twist it around and you end up leaving with no car.  I asked to speak with the Vennessa and as you would know it he says I will get you my Finance manager who comes out now when you explain your story to him he has a whole new word game to play with you. And oh yeah the papers you signed that they told you where by law required because you applied online and it was the same thing, thats part of the scam too.

Please call me and I will talk to anyone that is willing to listen and please lets pull together and see if there is some kind of way to stop them by slapping them with a CLASS action lawsuit. But I am pretty sure no one will want to be bothered, however if you feel that you do and that the credit hit your credit report just took is worth it PLEASE give me a call. ALL LAWYERS ARE VERY WELCOME to call me anytime. This was my bad experience with this company but when I walked in I told my girlfriend something not right, I am getting the vibe and I pray to God I would have listened to my inner voice.  Please before you go this place please call!!   My name is Renea phone number: (((redacted)))

I would not LIE TO YOU!

Confused..

AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, November 19, 2010

Well I am also confused by the last response from Karl stating that the dealers are out to get your money. That response seems unrelated to this report in which you were falsely led to beleive you were approved, drove all the way there..and were denied.

So..the dealer got nothing, and you got nothing.

This is just one of MANY foul tactics the dealers use to get customers in the door. The problem is, it is not legally a bait and switch..and anything they promised on the phone would probably be inadmissible in court. Hence this is why no one will bother with a class action lawsuit for this. You can't sue a dealer because your credit sucks.

However, it is good that you posted here. Consumers need to be made aware of all these tactics they use over then phone and the web to get you in the door..this is your time and gas being used for nothing..or to be "switched" to something different then you were told over the phone was going to happen.

Since there may never be any laws to prevent a dealer from lying over the phone...the only defense is to EXPECT when going to a dealer, that you are going to be lied to from beginning to end. The best way to buy a car actually, is CASH..have the financing in order BEFORE you go to the dealer.

Imagine the look on their face when you ask them how much is the car..and they pull the old "well lets see what your trade in is worth..and what you can afford per month"..and then you say to the "stealer"..I mean dealer.."I am paying CASH a*****e...how much is the fregging CAR!!!"..."AND NO..I do not want any extended warranty or poly sealants or alarms..I just want to know how much is the d**n car or I WALK OUT NOW"...ahh, buying a car is so much fun these days..lol

Renea, Make sure to watch how Tori was SCAMMED at a car dealership by 'Googling' this- CAR SALES: TRICKS OF THE TRADE- CONSUMER ALERT, and the video is available....

AUTHOR: Karl - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, November 18, 2010

on the web, okay?

Most car dealerships in the USA are out to financially injure as many innocent & unsuspecting consumers as possible. Since times are 'tough' in the current economy, there will be more deception by car dealers.

Good luck to you.
