On Sep 23, 2009 at approx 1300, a man named "David Watson" called me at work and reported I needed to give him the number to my attorney because I am facing a "serious legal issue." When I asked what it was, he responded, are you going to cooperate? I asked what it was in reference to and he told me I had an unpaid payday loan. I told him I don't have any outstanding loans and I asked for the name and number of this so called customer of his. He reported it to be "Cashconnect." He told me he was a "junior attorney." I told him I was going to call the CA Bar and I hung up the phone.

On Sep 25 at approx 1100, the rep called back, he asked if I called the bar and I told him I told him not to call me at work again. He asked me if I did my research and I told him I was not interested in talking to him. He said he was going to put his senior attorney on the phone. The guy, also a man with a foreign accent, told me he was going to get me fired. He said he needed my work address to send me a summons. He said I needed to be at the Los Angeles Court House on Monday and I would be facing jail time and an $8000 debt. I told him to send the subpeona to my house and he said he couldn't. I told him I was going to contact an attorney and I needed his number, he declined. He said our conversation is being recorded directly from the courthouse. I told him I thought he was full of crap and he best not contact me at work again as I was going to report the harassment. He hung up the phone.
