Debt Consultants Of America, False and misleading statements were made and this company took over $7,000.00 of my money and gave me no service to consolidate my debt. They are unprofessional and refuse to cancel my contract Dallas Texas

This company stated they can negotiate my debt pennies on the dollar and at time of settlement, the creditors will satisfy the account as paid. At no point does the contract stated the company is to be paid over $6,000.00 prior to any negotiations and that they will also take an additional 10% for the amount saved. The company has taken approximately $7,000.00 automaticaly from my account on a monthy basis to build a savings for negotiations with the creditors. At no point have they begin to negotiate with my creditors and the company continues to make automatic withdrawls from my account. They have made false and misleading statments and put my family in more of a financial hardship.

I had submitted a hardship letter along with paycheck stubs and medical invoices to this company to show my financial hardship and they used my families catostrophic situation for their gain. It has been 9 months and nothing has been done by this company, they have been extremely unprofessional, insensative, rude and have no compassion. The personnel continues to change for unquestionable reasons, therefore I never have the same represenative to assist in this highly sensative manner.
