Have you ever bought an electronics item that you were sure would be great until you find something wrong with it or you need to ask a question from someone at the company and get it rectified or fixed and or replaced, well this didn't happen with what happened to me with Dell Canada.

I had bought a Dell inspiron 6000d with a 1.6 GHz 533 MHz frontside bus computer. Well it started with me finding out the frontside bus is actually dictated by the ram speed, meaning that if the ram has a frequency of 400 MHz the frontside bus will achieve 400 MHz and if the ram frequency is at 533 MHz the frontside bus is actually 533 MHz and this was confirmed by the Dell tech's. I had called Dell Canada to ask why my computer did not come with the frontside bus that it shows on it's website by putting in the appropriate ram in for it to achieve the frontside bus speed of 533 MHz in which I had spent more money for the more expensive intel chipset for my computer.


I spent over 47 hours on the phone with their customer relations telling me that they would fix it for me and the order for the proper ram would be sent out to me after I talked to their tech support. Then they changed their minds and decided not to send out the 533 MHz ram to replace the 400 MHz ram that was sent with my system. They then told me they would fix it after arguing with them for two weeks and then they changed their minds again.

I talked to a tech support who stated he was a customer service rep and he then yelled at me and called me an idiot I then yelled back and he threatened to hang up on me if I didn't stop yelling back at him after he had already done it to me and called me names. No one has apologized for this and an e-mail from another rep isn't an apology it's them hiding in their hole. No one tried to help and if they did try to help me they got shut down for even trying to help me out.

They don't return my calls and as soon as they find out who I am they hang up on me, for a company that bases all of their sales on the fact that they have award winning customer service well I never even closely had any service all I got were lies, more lies and to top it of they insulted me and my intelligence.

I have read through their rules and regulations and they followed none of them in my case. They aren't award winning they are the worst company for helping anyone. All I did was ask a question and they didn't even answer it for me and "because " is not an answer.

I hope that Michael S. Dell is happy with the fact his company is gonna go from great to the worst. And if he reads this then maybe doing something about this kind of crap and treating people like crap should be rectified.
