Delta Airlines Bait and Switch nonstop flights canceled ATlanta, Georgia

In mid-October, I purchased a Delta airline ticket for Dec. 25 Christmas noon, nonstop flight from CA to the midwest parents' home. Plan was to have Christmas morning at my home, then arrive in midwest later Christmas. Great schedule, so I paid for it. Now I get an email from Delta: Oh, we had to reschedule your flight to a 1-stop flight leaving early Christmas morning.

Typical Delta bait and switch. Had I known the flight would be 1-stop and leaving in the morning, I wouldn't have purchased it. I would have gone with another airline. This happens too many times I travel with Delta. They offer attractive nonstop flights, take your money, then cancel the flight and put you on a terrible schedule alternative.

I called, but what could the rep do? "I guess it was more economical" she said, no apology. I am so sick of Delta. They shouldn't advertise flights they don't expect to fill. They should add more later, rather than take away what people have paid for.
