Never purchase Delta Airlines gift certificates. I had purchased two $25.00 gift certificated to give to a friend, she was unable to use them within the terms and time frame of the rules. She had decided to cash them in and take the 10% penalty and ask for a refund. So following the instructions from Delta Airlines we took the gift certificates to White Plains Airport (HPN) and we were told that the easiest way to get the refund was for the person who charged the certificates to just simply credit back the money. We agreed and still Delta Airline messed up the refund.

We had to return to the airport 3 times at an additional cost of $15.00 plus many, many phone calls and still Delta Airlines messed up the refund. And their customer service seems to care less and treats you like yesterday's garbage and offer little to no help what so ever. You talk to one supervisor after another and still they get the information messed up. So to sum up never buy Delta Airline Gift Certificates.
