Sadly to say, my husband and I have had nothing but problems with this company from the beginning, and we are still having problems! The trouble began a few years ago when we renewed our contract with Verizon through this company, as they are an authorized Verizon dealer. We signed up for a new phone plan, and were given a hot-spot wi-fi thing for "free". The salesman failed to tell us that "free" was actually an additional $25 per month on our bill. We discovered this and promptly returned the item. Problem solved, right? Wrong . Next, I noticed new charges on our credit card began showing up from Diamond Wireless, a whopping $90 a month! I called the company directly and inquired with the charge was for, and was told it was phone insurance, which we told the sales rep from the beginning we did not want or need! I was then told I needed to call customer service (based in Utah) to get the insurance canceled and the money refunded. It took me almost a week to get a hold of anyone. I left voicemails and never received any calls in return. Finally, I was able to speak with a friendly and helpful representative who said they would cancel the insurance and refund the money. Instead, we were charged for two more months ,still $90 a month, and I finally called our credit card company and asked them to block the charges, as they were unauthorized. Our credit card company blocked the charges AND somehow managed to get me in touch directly with a manager from Diamond Wireless customer service, who was very understanding and helpful. He promptly canceled our unwanted insurance and we were finally refunded the money we had been unlawfully charged for the three months. Now we are with a different phone company altogether, and have been for well over a year. We thought our problems were over with Diamond Wireless, but unfortunately I discovered our bank account is currently in the negative over $200 plus an overdraft fee! I called our bank directly and was told the charge was from Verizon. I then called Verizon customer service and was told we have a zero balance and owe no money. We have not received any collection notices in the mail and are no longer Verizon customers. Even the customer service agent was confused, so she gave me a number to report fraud. I then realized that Diamond Wireless could very well still have our personal checking account number after all this time, and since they are authorized Verizon Wireless dealers, they have the ability to hide behind them to charge our account unlawfully. So in the morning, I will have to go to my bank and probably open a new account so as to avoid any more hassle from this company ! Dealing with the aftermath of this company's belligerent thievery has been incredibly frustrating and stressful, and I refuse to allow them to steal from my family and get away with it! Please avoid this company altogether, and save yourself the nightmare that I am still going through over a year later! They are thieves and liars, and I will not be silent in calling them out for their blatant dishonesty!
