Discount Blind And Shade Factory ripoff Chandler Arizona

I ordered Basswood Shutters on October 13, 2005 for 18 windows. I dealt with a Sales person names Niles. He wanted me to pay for the entire amount upfront and they would waive the sales tax. I did not feel comfortable with the amount I was spending to give him the entire amount upfront so he took half. He told me they would take 6 - 8 weeks.

He also gave me Temp blinds. He did not have enough for my windows so he said he would come back the next day. He did not show up the next day but called and came the following day to give me enough temp blinds for all my windows.

A few weeks later I noticed that they had charged me for the full amount. I called and spoke to Jolene and she stated she had the paperwork on her desk and she would issue a credit. She even called me back a few days later to let me know she submitted the credit.

I received my AMEX bill toward the end of November and it had not been done. I called AMEX to verify if the credit had been made after my billing cycle and it had not. I called and spoke to Jolene again and she swore she submitted it, apologized and said she would get it done. It never happened. I called AMEX and the issued a dispute and I paid the half that I agreed on.

This was the last time I was able to get through to them. I called and called for weeks only to get a busy signal. One day in December I was able to get through, was on hold for an hour. I could not hold any longer since I was at work and hit whatever number it was to leave a message. No surprise the voice mail box was full. I kept trying and trying until the number was disconnected. I did file a complaint with the BBB, but they were unsuccessful in reaching them as was AMEX.
