I agree with almost ALL complaints that have been posted here right to the present, the exception being that a dropship fee of $2.50 is actually reasonable. Doba is a nasty little operation.

The prices of their suppliers can not compete with today's market and economy. Even during the best of times, the prices of their suppliers are often above retail. When I brought this to their (Doba's) attention, I was told to find them better suppliers. What a totally absurd and childish comment...I do believe that this is what I am paying THEM to do.

[By the way, I have recently made three purchases through eBay, rather than buying them 'wholesale' through my Doba account, as it was far, FAR cheaper, and that included shipping costs as well. What is wrong with this picture?]

I was told that they have "been at this for five years," and are in good standing with the BBB. I find the latter hard to believe, as surely Doba's unethical practices must have been reported to the BBB by now. If not, then the time has come for such reports to be filed without delay. eBay should also receive information and complaints regarding this company.

During a period such as we are experiencing now, when times are quite desperate for so many individuals, the scam that Doba practices is unconscionable. Class action lawsuits are not usually as effective as individual law suits, but it is an option. However, registering concise but detailed complaints to the proper authorities is certainly effective, and should be done by all of us immediately.
