Hi,
First off I would like to thank you for your site, I honestly thought I was the only one going through this. I just wish I had a done a quick search on this company I would have found out that they were a bogus company. I actually found out that they are not even registered with the chamber of commerce and business bureau as a moving company's basically what they are doing is they are subcontracting the moving services with other companies, then once they get your stuff, they don't pay them, you're stuck. I found all this out in the last 24 hours. I would advise all the people who have fallen victim to these crooks, is to go through their documents, to find the name of the company that actually picked up their stuff, because they would know where their stuff is. I have given up on trying getting my money back, if it is true this company is facing bankruptcy. I have decided to now find out exactly where my shipment is and use another company to ship my items from LA (where they said they stored my stuff) to it's final destination (the United Arab Emirates).
I sent out an email to tp://www.1-directory-international-movers.com/ and explained to them that I wanted a moving company to take over my shipment from dolphin international (RIPOFF) company and have them ship it to Dubai, UAE. And that I would pay the cost for that shipment.
Someone called Barry Karr of www.shippingcunsltants.net wrote back to me telling he could help and explained that dolphin was going out of business very soon, and that many of their customers shipments will be deserted, and advised that I give him my shipping details, and he would find another company that would ship my stuff from where ever they are now, to Dubai (UAE). Now I don't know if this person is another con artist or a Good Samaritan, I think perhaps he is making money off of helping me by bringing clients to this other shipping company. If anyone has done what I have done and has received a similar email, please let me know. And if anyone does have any better advice on what I should do please don't hesitate, please post your info below to help others as well!
Like all of you, this situation has been a nightmare; I just graduated, and was moving to another country, all my stuff and gifts for family and friends have been locked away in some storage facility.
I really hope all of us can get our stuff back inshallah (God-Willing)
Peace
Shaima

I am following up to my previous email. I was able to track down my shipment thanks to the BOL and the Consignee Omega Shipping in New York City. THey luckly had the boxes sitting their waiting to be picked up.
I am seeing all these reports from them and beleive that if we can find this Dolphin Group we can sue. I have already gone the some News stations and will follow up with the police and FBI if need be. If you would like to join in please respond to this rebuttal.
Good luck

I have just found out that my shipment has not been delivered to France and that the same people from Dolphin Int. mentionned in the other note are the ones I dealt with. I am trying to locate my boxes and praying that i will. I do not know yet how to get in touch with this Barry Karr. I will follow up on this.

Dolphin International Shipping Rip Off, they took my money, refused service, and don't answer my calls

GOOD NEWS!! Thanks to the help of Mr. Barry Karr, of www.shippingconsultants.net, I FOUND My shipment!!. Barry, I am sorry I thought your intentions for helping me were anything but genuine, thanks to you I can get my life back!
What I found out thanks to Barry Karr is not only the location of my shipment, but the company I should contact. When I called them they confirmed they had my shipment, they informed me that it had been sitting with them for 2 months, and that Dolphin International shipping never paid them.
Susana of Dolphin International Shipping kept telling him that they would pay, or had already paid, but he informed me that they never made received payment, the company was nice enough not to charge for the storing my stuff for 2 months. He also told me it would only cost $1400 to ship my items air freight to Dubai, UAE, which is what Barry had told me. Not only did Dolphin take my money, but they also over charged me, they told me it would cost $2464 to ship my stuff.
I just want to tell everyone out there who has been a victim of this dishonest company (Dolphin International Shipping) and has been lied to by it's employees (Daniel, Kathryn, Susana, and Kelly) that they should focus on finding out where their shipment is.
Also, I am prepared to join any other victims to take legal action against Dolphin International Shipping.
Thank you Rip off report for helping me find my shipment and the truth about Dolphin International Shipping.
I hope everyone is able to get their stuff back inshallah (God-willing)
