I placed an online order this evening for the store located on Government St. -- Roughly 20 minutes after I placed the order, a young man called me and told me I (yes, I) had to call the Airline Hwy. store and tell them to transfer my order over there because they were swamped. He was rude with me and while he had me on the phone, he was joking with some other employee in the background.
When I did call the Airline Hwy. location, I told the woman that I was told to call her store and transfer my order. I hinted at my discontent with the fact that the gentleman called me and told me to basically do his job for him.
It would have been better for him to take care of this for me and then just maybe call me to alert me he'd taken care of and if I had any questions about delivery time, to contact Airline Hwy.
The woman told me "Listen lady, we are both SLAMMED over here! If you want your pizza that bad you can come pick it up!"
Now, I understand that Baton Rouge is a rough area right now. Hurricane Katrina has basically turned the whole state into an overstressed disaster zone. But that is NO EXCUSE for your employees to take their temper out on me.
Having somebody give me service is one of the only good things to look forward to right now and apparently it is too much to ask to even get that. Not only that, people in this area -- have not had a hot meal in ages. These two people made it something I was no longer looking forward to.
I called up another pizza chain and not only was their wait time half that of the Airline Hwy. store, the woman I got was extremely pleasant and courteous.
I will be hard pressed to order Domino's again any time soon.

pizza...

Pizza Huts and Domino's have been going down steadily for a few years now. It sucks that this stuff happens to places that were once nice places to eat and order from.
However, the last time i ate at Pizza Hut, we ate for free because they screwed the order up. (i have no complaints about it as they made right by it.)
I've also eaten free at Cracker Barrel. (they forgot to turn the order in and realized the goof when she brought us out third drink refills. Even the MGR appoligized. We thought we'd get a discount, not a whole free dinner. )
I won't deal with rude phone people. You tell me to call another location after placing an online order, and I'll tell you to forget it.

Another Pizza Hut complaint - The ones in the southern states were, without a doubt, all quite dirty.

I agree with the general lack of customer service in Louisiana. While I'm sure there many employees who take pride in their jobs and know that customer satisfaction is good business, there are just too, too many who could care less and it shows. My complaint is with the Pizza Hut on Lewis St. in New Iberia,La. but not with its delivery. It is filthy. I called for pickup and got to the store while the pizza was being made and that's how I saw the pizza cook cough all over the pizza. He wasn't wearing gloves or hair net. His uniform was not just dirty, it looked like it had been slept in. The floor was dirty with bits and pieces of the things needed to make pizzas, along with napkins and other things. I did, however, see a filthy rag mop and water bucket in a corner, away from the lobby. The counters were dirty and sticky. I did call Pizza Hut headquarters, getting no reply. Two years later, I went back, thinking maybe there was new management and a cleaner store. I was mistaken and left without getting anything. I've been in several Pizza Huts in New Jersey, Washington, South Carolina, Georgia, and New York. The ones in the southern states were, without a doubt, all quite dirty.

First of all... My old crack infested neighborhood? F**** you. Did you even read the complaint? I wasn't pissed off that they wouldn't deliver. I was pissed off because of the way the employee(s) handled the situation, same with this Domino's thing.
I'm glad you're such a fan of mine that you've read my other report. The fact of the matter is, pizza places down here suck a*s. Actually, most customer service down here in horrible. If something really bad happens, this website exists so you can tell people about it. It just so happens that two pizza places had employees who were ridiculous enough, their behavior prompted me to file reports.
So before you go off on a tangent about how I don't have a life and want to b***h about Pizza Hut next, maybe you should get your snotty little a*s down here to Louisiana and see exactly how horrible employees are at these little joints.

Something's Fishy

Did anyone else notice that this Megan person also filed a complaint against Papa Johns for not delivering to her crack-house infested neighborhood back in April 2005? I think she's full of garbage and has nothing better to do than bad mouth pizza joints. I'm guessing she got mad at Papa John's and decided to attack Domino's next. I bet she's working on her Rip Off Report against Pizza Hut right now.

Vouchers don't fix a bruised image

I did let both Domino's locations know I was irritated with them. Each location sent me $20 in vouchers. I used that money to purchase three pizzas in Luling which they majorly screwed up. The employees at that store were ALSO incredibly rude, as if it was our fault that they had to work in a hot store, etc.
Domino's is totally off my list for good.

I just ordered a pizza from Domino's, which promted my visit here to this site because I am pissed off again. The irony is, I am paying for the pizza with a voucher Domino's sent me for the LAST order which was messed up, cold, and the employees were rude. The Domino's pizza people up here have the IQ God gave a used tampon.
But I digress. Go to the Domino's website and send them either a link to this webpage (you can use this rebuttal, too, to farther your outrage...their customer service persons are really screwing customers over) or copy and paste the remarks. Send them a customer complaint email like I did requesting your money back. Tell them exactly how you feel and don't hold back. They will probably ask if they can send you a voucher. I only accepted the voucher because I thought it was a one time thing. Obviously not, the people there are still imbeciles.
Anyway, tell them you are not satisfied and you want your money back- period. If enough complaints are sent to corporate they have to answer.
Best of Luck-
