Domino's Pizza Poor management ripping off hours of under aged workers Hickory North Carolina

I would like to start off by saying that I used to work at this Domino's location in Hickory NC. I worked at this location for years and learned many of the poor ways that people got treated.

First let me say that I have known many under aged employees from this store that had hours taken off of their pay. I will explain how their system works first. They have a computer system that the higher managers have access to certain parts via password. One such part of the system is the time card editor. The is were the manager could edit the hours of an employee. This store is known for hiring younger employees to do the work at cheaper wages.

I used to run shifts at this store and the manager I will not mention her name would if one of the younger employees would not do as told or if they talked to much would have time taken off of their pay. I was even told to do this when I ran a shift that if one of the younger ones didn't listen or if they were talking just take 15-30 min. off of their time after they clocked out. I for one never did this to any of the people working in the store under me but I do know that the store manager and her assistant manager did this on a regular basis.

I have also witnessed lots of racism in this store. This store was once located in a not so nice neighbor hood in the city. There was prostitution that went on right around the corner from our store. Well many of these women would come in off of the street to get a drink or something small to eat and the manager would tell them to get their (used the term that used to be used to refer to a black person and then the word for butt) out of her store. The manager of this store would also lock the door after dark to not let any black people in the store but she would unlock the door for a white person. She would claim it was to prevent getting robbed but I as well as anyone else would know that any race of person is capable of robbing a store.

I even remember a time that she hired a girl that was of a minority race then when this girl started working she would just get made fun of behind her back about her being stupid and such. Also I found out the only reason she was hired was because someone had made a complaint about the manager being racist and she hired the girl just to have her long enough to stop the complaint.

I have also seen the management of this store drop food on the floor and pick it up just to use it. If a customer was in the store at the time and they saw the food hit the floor it was picked up and sat to the side out of customer view to make them think it was disposed of just to get used after the customer would leave.

I will now finish off by saying that I have nothing against Domino's Pizza and I order from that company all the time just not that store. I have worked in multiple location of Domino's and this is the only location I have ever seen this happen.
