Drive Time Ripped off Twice! New Port Richey Florida

I purchased a van from DriveTime 4 yrs ago, and was not told that you can't get insured on conversion vans in the state of Florida. Don't tell me DT isn't sneaky, because they listed it with the Dept. of Trans as a "Pick Up Truck"!

1st week they had to replace the battery; 2nd month had to replace the entire radiator....5 mos. before it was paid off, the engine blew!!! I wanted compensation, so DT "allowed" me to trade it in on a minivan...they had three vans on the lot. However, I was only "allowed" to purchase the '03 Ford Windstar. It raised my monthly payment by $40 and now I really have a dud!. They knew it was a lousy vehicle, because it was the only one I was allowed to choose......

Had it for 2 months when it needed a $420 tune up...new wiring and coil pack, which of course wasn't covered by the 6 month warranty! They conceded and paid for the parts, after alot of fussing on my part. But 2 months later the transmission went completely out...my cost: $1400.

One week later the check engine light went back on again...this time it's the 02 (oxygen)sensors. The estimate for this one is $200-$400. I'm DONE! No way am I putting out any more money to them on a vehicle that books at $6000, and they are charging me $20,000! ($13,000 plus interest at almost 30%) What they sell you on is their 56 point check up that they claim to do, and a 6 mo. warranty that doesn't cover anything. ..STAY AWAY FROM DRIVE TIME!!!...
