Drive Time, Ugly Duckling ripoff, verbally abusive to customer, makes promises they can't keep, report to repository incorrectly Tucson Arizona

I recently traded my mini van to another dealership that is locally here in Tucson, AZ.

Then I called Drive Time to let them know that I have traded my mini van in at another dealership and that the pay off would be as quoted 20 days until the actual pay off would take place;

"Ron" thanked me and said that he would hold any/ all collections if any against me until the pay off was complete.

I took his word and from that day and every day since I traded in my mini van I was still getting calls from the collections department.

They stated that I was still liable for payments on my mini van until that pay off actually goes through.

I was also bad mouthed by Maria and Ron and saying that it isn't their faults that I can't pay my vehicle payment(that's putting it nicely).

My point is, that I have been a good paying customer ever since I bought my van and never been delinquint.

Point is that they expect me to pay my "payments" which I feel is no longer my obligation and think they have the right to bad mouth me (the good paying customer).

From the "good paying customers point of view" why am I getting treated this way?

Do they know that it is the customers that help line their pockets with money?

Now from my understanding it is my credit that is going to be reported negatively on and they display theirselves as the good guys whom are trying to help rebuild our credit. NOT!

I have since then talked to the Judy Bass (Ceo's secretary)about this situation. Maybe she can settle this matter; but if not that's ok because there is such a thing as "word of mouth". "internet" and "picketting".
