ECMC Student Loan Internet

I have been having terrible trouble out of this company as well. They call here two and three times a day wanting their money and I keep telling them unless I can grow a money tree in the backyard they are getting nothing. They then go to threatening to take income and my taxes if I dont start making payments.

I found out that you can apply for the William D Ford Direct Loan Consolidation and they will get the loans from ECMC and you wont have to fool with them anymore. This has been wonderful because I am getting tired of being told that I need to get off my a*s and get a job so I can make my payments. When you have doctors bills and utilities, groceries, medicine, rent, car payments, and living expenses it is very hard to make an extra 200 dollar payment every month.

The ECMC people should be reported to the BBB honestly for their reprensative behavior alone. I have been talked to like a dog, made felt like I was lower than scum and all of this for a student loan from an online college that didnt even teach me anything.

I called them once and asked them to send me out a payment book or something to where I could make notes of the payments and they said that they had already sent a letter out and I would get nothing else. They wanted my bank account information and I told them no that I would not do that. I am not giving them my information so they can rob me of everything that I have which aint much, I have heard of student loan collector's doing this to people.

I told them on the phone that I have to have electricity and food and they said that the student loans should come first because of my credit worthiness. I told them they were insane and hung up.This company is pathetic.

If you want to get away from this mess of a company, search for William D Ford and it should bring up the Direct Loans website to apply for their consolidation. I have spoke with those people and they are really nice and helpful.
