I am nursing my Living Water purifier unit through its final hours. I liked this Alpine Living Water unit and felt it was effective (albeit way overpriced). But be aware that Ecoquest, Alpine's parent company, will ONLY sell you replacement filters, bulbs, etc. if you have paid a $25 annual fee AND have an active sponsor who has paid their fee. You cannot order replacement parts at all if, like me, you have been dropped from their computer system because you haven't ordered in awhile. You must be re-sponsored and go through all the MLM malarkey in order to get basic parts for the products you have already purchased. Ecoquest cares only about making bucks off its multi-level marketing scheme. It is nearly impossible to get through on their ordering or customer service telephone line, customer service people are rude, orders are delivered very slowly, and to add insult to injury, ALL Ecoquest products are incredibly overpriced. I'll be buying a new water purifier next week, and it will NOT be from Ecoquest. My overall recommendation on Ecoquest: avoid this company.

Some of the information in your report is not accurate. You do not have to pay a $25 annual fee to receive replacement parts for any products, but you do have to purchase them from an authorized dealer. You can not purchase them directly from the company. If you call customer support (1-800-929-2299) and tell them that you would like to be referred to an authorized dealer in your area, then they will forward your information to a dealer in your area who should be able to assist you in getting parts for your equipment.
As an authorized dealer I feel it is my responsibility to my customers to ensure they have a good experience with the products they have purchased from me, from the time they make the purchase to years down the road when they may need replacement parts. Unfortunately, as with most businesses, not everyone shares this same conviction. If I can be of any assistance with your replacement parts needs then please respond back to this rebuttal and we can arrange for further contact.
