Encante Shady practices (deceit) Internet

I have pretty much the same report as the one opening this column. I had been reading an article and a header came up that said Dr.Oz reveals the truth about costly aging remedies. I started reading and they were saying he had to come out in the open with the truth that these creams should be affordable to all because basically they were just moisturizers with vitamin C. Vitamin C was the miracle working agent in these creams and we all know ascorbic acid is cheap.

So next a free trial comes up and the offer says you just pay shipping.4.95. Then when you order it states for best results you need another serum also. 1.95 shipping was all you paid for this one. I ordered both and sure enough I got a charge for 99.01 and 98.76 or close by a few cents. Like this other person I had no idea who was responcible. Luckily i had charged them with capital one who is always great about these things.We did a three way call and they insist to this day the disclosure about the trial and if you dont cancel they send more and charge ridiculous amounts for simple moisturizers.

I told the Encante rep about the fact there is no such disclosure ,at least not on the mobibe version I use. They say there is. I just checked again its not there.Even when you hit the trial and offer any button or order form there is nothing that states you have to cancel within a certain time.Nothing.They also said if I sent unused portion They could discount. So what happened to free trial.

Capital one didnt charge at first but now that the company is disputing they went ahead and added it to my bill. I have to upload my proof of cancellation and stuff that didnt happen in a timely manner because I knew of no trial.Should be easy enough because its still not disclosed on the mobile site though they say it is. Go ahead and look.  Please.Correct me if I'm wrong. Can't believe what I thought was a reputable company engages in deceptive business practices. Maybe I was thinking of some other Co.
