Does BestBuy have vested interest with Energy Plus?
AUTHOR: Walt - (USA)

As a member of MRZ Best Buy Gold member status, In addition of the "so-called" savings to switching to Energy Plus, I did some homework on the company and found countless results in multiple states yet of thereports, comments, posts that I have read, nothing is positive, as of a matter of fact, its a wonder the Company is still in business. Best Buy on the other hand had a solid reputation, as an avid shopper with Best Buy I am questioning my continual business with them. The purpose of my inquiry is to find out the relationship between the two companies? Is it just a "kickback" that Best Buy is receiving or do they have some type of interest with the company. Below is a copy and paste of what I found on Best Buys website, hence my post? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
Copy and paste the link below into your browser, I am not sure if you need to be a RMZ member of Best Buy. If it does not work simply look at what I copied and pasted below the link.

In short, if I were to become an Energy Plus customer I would benefit a great deal with double points with Best Buy, I could accumulate several hundred dollars of "Best Buy money"however, in the long run, it sounds like I'll be given that savings back to Energy Plus based on the billing fluctuations. That is, if all the post I read are accurate? Please comment!

Is there a penalty for early cancellation? These are the things to look at when shopping for an alternative energy carrier.
