Family Credit Counseling Corporation after 14 months of enrollment, my account went from $9,000 to $11,470. and the collection agency still calls Lauderdale Lakes Florida

I enter Family Credit Counseling 3-1-2006. I was informed that they would take care of one $9,000 deliquent account with CitiBank. They stated my payment would be $242 per month for 54 months.On 4-20-2006, I talked with Tenisha at 866-523-5361 to confirm my client number #30582 and that the monthly payment was raised to $257 per month. My original balance has dwindled down to estimated balance of $6,548 as of 1-9-2007 statement. 2-9-2007 statement revealed a new estimated balance of $11,470.53.

The collection phone calls and statements of amount owed continue to come in from MRS Associates out of Cherry Hill, NJ.

The phone calls from Family Credit Counseling Corporation states that I should disregard these phone calls and statements and not to have anything to do with them. I have called the corporate number to leave a message and no one has retuned my calls. Ibelieve that I have been frauded and taken advantage of while my credit has severely suffered.
