I received a call one evening and after that this curse started to work on me. The company I am mentioning here is "Family Readers Service" (Magazines). They told me that I'll be charged $14.47 and if I don't like the service I can cancel it any time. On the first day itself I asked them what if I don't like your service, they replied that "they sends the magazines for people to enjoy" and not to put them into *hardship (*they used a different word here but with similar meaning).

However the irony is that after a month or two when I called them that I want to cancel the subscription, they CR told me that I can't do so and the service is in my name and obligation for the next five years. Oh my ... you can imagine that how I have felt after hearing this. They told me that there is no way to stop or cancel this subscription and so finally they reduced my monthly payment from $43.40 to $20. (Please remember it started with $14.47 and it soon became $868.)

And I was unaware of this until I called them first time to cancel my account. I told them that I am a student and I earn by working part time and my university has most of the magazines which I would like to read. But still they remained stick with their policy and agreement and obligation and money, money and money.

It is an irony that the first night they mentioned that they sent the magazines for us to enjoy and now the same magazine, company was like a bitter experience for me. I tried to find a place to file a legal suit against them that what kind of rule is this once you agree to some thing then you can not cancel or unsubscribe to your service. Also they are not honest over phone when they make you listen to their *"terms and conditions" (fast, pressurised, & unclear). Also they keep sending me all the worst magazines (like "ok") which I throw directly to my trash after taking from mailbox. They are also not sincere and honest in sending all the magazines to which I have subscribed.

Anyways, this is the worst business experience so far in my life and I am still under their trap and any help provided will be heartily appreciated from my part. Also I would like to warn other consumers to beware of this company. They are not ethical, honest, and humanly company. There are so many things which I don't like about them. I don't want to use any negative or hard words against them but then I am really unhappy about you ... "Family Readers Service."
