FCNB Spiegel fraudulent Billing ripoff another complaint among many against this so called bank Beaverton Oregon

I cannot believe how many people have had the same problems with this company. I can only hope contacting Spiegel as well to inform them of the mistreatment that their customers are being subjected to will alarm them in some way.

FCNB has done the worst thing yet to me. I've gotten my bill and I have received a credit for return merchandise on 5/1/03 in the amount of 96.99, however I have also received a late payment fee of 35.00 on 5/16/03 fifteen days after the credit. Now, here is the sticky part, the minimum payment due is only 35.00. The exact amount of the late fee. There is no additional past due amount included.

The explanation is that the credit doesn't affect my payments in any way but have always before and I have proof. How is this legal? I can't even call someone on the phone to discuss this with them. Any other credit card company will at least let you find out what is going on.

These ripoff artists tell you to write to them within 60 days and they will investigate. @#$%^&*!!! Be warned, I will also be contacting the BBB for another complaint among many against this so called bank
