I was in desperate need of loan mod, and contacted Feldman Law Center. They told me they would only take my case if it looked favorable for a loan modification. It is illegal now for California attorneys to take fees up front for loan mods, but yet Feldman Law Center charged me $4000.00 up front and said they would not do anything for me without payment.  They screwed up the numbers with my lender and I was denied. They told me if I was denied, they would try again as much as I wanted, and that was a lie! They sent me a "release" letter and basically want another fee if they try again. They charged me an additional $500 for another month of doing nothing, and not returning my calls. Their employee turn-over rate is huge! Everytime they assigned someone new to my case, they never returned my phone calls, and then left a voice machine stating that they only accept emails or fax...this is a huge scam these people are running. Please do not let them take advantage of you too!!  My mistake that I did not read all the horrible things they have done to innocent people like me! Read the report on them that people filed on this Rip Off Reports web site, and also with the Better Business Bureau...just think all the people who they took advantage of, that did not file reports...because most people don't want to deal with the bad reminders of how they wasted their hard earned money, and these theives took it!
