Ferrellgas Overcharge, bad terms/conditions Howell Nationwide

After entering into a year-long fixed price contract, at a very high price, Ferrellgas delivered over and above the quantity specified in the contract, and then charged outrageuous price above market price for the remainder.


My contract was at a price of $2.58 a gallon. Despite the fact they just delivered two weeks ago, today they delivered an additional load of propane. In my 500 gallon tank, they delivered 111 gallons at a price of $3.44 a gallon. The local market price by several other companies is now $1.79 a gallon.

On their website, they say they'll match local prices if you own your own tank. However, Ferrellgas refuses to sell me the tank that has been in my yard for ten years, and, if I want to discontinue their service, wants to charge me $90 to remove the old tank, and a surcharge, because the tank has propane remaining in it now.

I hereby declare Ferrellgas to be a corporate menace to mankind. I am severing all relationships with this company. Stay Away from Ferrellgas before you become the next complaint about them on ripoffreport!
