First Consumers National Bank ripoff payment website non-existant Portland Oregon

I have had numerous problems in the past with late fees when payments were mailed on time, the late fees then putting me over my limit so there were over-limit fees added on, etc.

So this month, when I realized that I had forgotten to mail the bill far enough in advance, I thought I'd try their website that was recommended in the bill. I quote "Visit WWW.CARDMEMBERSERVICES.NET to view your account information and enjoy the convenience of paying online."

As a side note, I also had an account with NextCard, which, just like FCNB, decided to cancel all charging privileges but payments must continue to be made. So, when I went to that site that was listed in the bill, the site for making online payments for NextCard came up. I tried reloading, I even tried searching on yahoo for a website for FCNB where I could make payments--no luck.

So once again, I'm going to end up with a late fee when it is really their fault. I made a good effort attempt to pay the bill on time, at the website address that's listed on their bill. It is not my fault their site doesn't exist there. Yet I'm sure they will charge me that late fee anyway.

I also noticed that last month's payment went to Atlanta, Georgia, yet this month the address is for Omaha, Nebraska once again on the remittance stub. It makes it difficult to plan when you'll mail a bill if the payment address keeps changing. Especially since this is my FCNB Mastercard, yet the FCNB Newport News account I had now has payments being sent to Hicksville, NY.
