I enter an agreement to modify my loan, after I paid my last payment of four on Sep.08, I was waiting to receive a new loan modification contract and it never arrived to my hands. After the fires in California last October I received a phone call that my property was sold. I serched and it was right LASALLE NATIONAL BANK was the new owner. I was told by Jonathan Manko representative from FF that after my first payment of the pre-mod agreement he was going to stop the FORCLOSURE process and the NOTICE OF TRUSTEE'S SALE, it was never stop. That's when I start taking action and hired an attorney to initiate a lawsuit against FIRST FRANKLIN NATIONAL BANK & LASALLE BANK.

I had discovered that FF was purchased back in 2006 by Merrill Lynch and discontinues in March 08. The closure afect me and about 650 people in mortgage origination at First Franklin and First Franklin's NationPoint division. The firm estimates total charges, primarily
severance and real estate costs related to this matter, for 2008 of approximately $60 million, of which approximately half will be recorded in the first quarter and it has already reduced head count at First Franklin by 70 percent since July. As I noted previously, I can't believe Merrill bought First Franklin in the first place in late 2006 for $1.3 billion. The housing market was clearly slowing at the time, and subprime mortgage credit tremors were already starting to be felt. This was part of the COMMING FRAUD 2008.

FIRST FRANKLIN was never intented to help people modifying loans it was to get FORCLOSURE HOMES to get GOVERMENT BONUSES.

If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff to open a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT IN CALIFORNIA, contact ERICK-DOUGLASS JOHNSON attorney for these open case in Rancho Cucamonga on January 09.

***MORE LIES FROM JONATHAN MANKO & FIRST FRANKLIN LOAN SERVICES***

AUTHOR: Ajm345 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 27, 2009

Especially during such a difficult time for so many Americans, individuals such as Jonathan Manko, should be made an example of, so people may have faith in our justice system. In November of 2008, my wife and I applied for a Loan Modification with First Franklin, having an extremely difficult time holding on to our home. After countless hours of fighting on the phone and hundreds of documents faxed over to their Resolutions Department, we finally were assigned a 'Negotiator" by the name of Jonathan Manko. Rude, obnoxious and unprofessional, Jonathan kept giving us the run around, saying that "...you should have stop paying your mortgage.." referring to the fact that because we were doing our best to not get too far behind, we were not important enough to work with. After taking his advice and skipping a few mortgage payments I receive a phone call from Jonathan, the first week of March of 09 informing me that First Franklin was reviewing my application for a Loan Mod. and I needed to resubmit all my paperwork again. Finally in the last week of March, Jonathan calls me with the terms of the modification. He quotes me a 3.4% interest rate and promises to waive all of my late fees. After I receive the paperwork, I notice that the interest rate is actually 4.6% and the payments $200 more than what he promised. After the new escrow account they created for me, my payments were almost exactly what they were before! My wife and I must have left him 50 messages and more to other employees of First Franklin. With Jonathan and his team ducking my calls, I decided to sign the Loan Mod paperwork anyway, because it was still a better payment (but not much) than what I currently was responsible for. I continued to try and reach someone at First Franklin to see why my payments were $200 higher than I was quoted AND I had $300 in late fees. It wasn't until April 27, 2009 that I sweet-talked a receptionist making her pity me, that I was able to get Jonathan on the phone. I asked him why he quoted me that price and he denied ever doing it! I then explained to him that I had a witness at the time of our conversation (in March) and could even retrieve the phone conversation due to me working in a call center. That was when he changed his story, telling me "Whatever I say on the phone is just an estimate. I may have been looking at the wrong number on the screen" I explained to him that since he is compensated by commission for the loans he closes, I was pretty sure that a change from 3.4 to 4.6 interest is an oversight that worked out to HIS benefit. As Jonathan chuckled, He says, ..."well that must have been all that I could get you approved for, so if it is still too much for you to afford, you should sell your house and buy something more affordable." Can you believe that! His mistake, or should I say last minute change to pad his commissions check and he tells me to find a new home!

Imagine a hard working American, trying to save his family's home, as a result of a bad mortgage AND a horrible economy and I when I go to my lender looking for some assistance, I get taken advantage of, AGAIN! I am NOT finished with Joanathan Manko OR First Franklin. It is greedy, incompetent people such as him that create most of our country's problems.
