First Savings Credit Card Took $172.00 for nothing and I cannot get the money back. Sioux Falls South Dakota
*Consumer Comment: Advise...
When I applied I did not see anything on the letter telling you that you had to pay all this money to use their card, I was trying to build my credit up not knock it down. They charged $99.00 feel and some other charge and when I tried to cancel my card you cannot get ahold of anyone that can help you. so now I am out the money and they keep sending me bills for something I did not even use. I would like some help if possible. I am not a rich person and cannot afford $172.00 for nothing. Thank you for your help and time

I would strongly encourage you to mail them a letter and send via Registered Mail with Return receipt confirming that your account has been closed and that it has a zero balance. This will prove that the account has officially been closed...
If you don't do this...they'll leave your account status open forever and endless late fees will turn this into a $1,000+ debt.
