Hi, recently I have received a credit card from First Savings Credit Card with $103 dollars already charged to the card. When I asked the customer service rep to explain the charges she had mentioned that points will be deducted from my credit rating if I were to cancel this card. No waivery of fees within 30/60/90 days - Nothing!

For further investigation and upon request the rep gave me their bogus website www.firstsavingscc.com to validate their existence. Anyway I have been using several search engines and had called 888-469-0291 (number on the back of the card) several times and still has no luck in cancelling, recovering my money and/or restore my rating. Not once in the Terms Disclosure Statement did the company desclose their physical address for complaints/inquiries.

Does anybody know if this company really exist?

Company Exists

This company EXISTS. I went to the website and verifyed the info. I too have received this card, you have to pay 72.00 annually, 6.00 a month, basically to buy back your credit, and 99 dollar annual fee. So if you are not willing to pay 172 dollars to restore your credit, I am sorry.

hi. sorry to hear about your troubles. i just recieved one of their "pre-approved" applications and decided to do some research on it. looks like im going to shred this application. Here is the information on the letter.....

first savings credit card assistance line
1-605-782-3424
p.o. box 5020
siox falls, sd 57117-5020.

oddly enough, there is no mention of a website address. on this notice. but, there was a phone number given to OPT OUT of prescreening of all companies....1-888-567-8688.

i hope this helps.
