Florida Direct ripoff Won't refund my money after cancellation St. Petersburg Florida

I recieved a phone call about cheap florida vacation packages. I was notified that I was selected to recieve it as a prize. I followed through with the man on the phone. I was told that shortly a vacation package would arrive in the mail for me to look through. Before my package arrived $149.00 was taken from my checking account. I got the package and immediatly sent the paper (signed and dated) back stating to cancel my membership and refund my money. Shortly later I recieved a check in the mail for my $149.00. I signed the back of the check (like you're supposed to do) and deposited it back into my account. At the end of the month, the money was taken out again! I called my bank and asked why it had happened. My bank stated that Florida Direct's bank (whoever that is) sent the check back and would not honor it. I have been trying to get a hold of these people at 1-888-824-7675 but there is no answer. They said their costumer service thing is down. I got the number through my bank. I want to know why I can't have my money back and I never consented to be a member and only requested the information. I'm a poor college student and really don't need this financial trouble. If anyone can help, please let me know ASAP!
