Forsythe Data Equipment ripoff Nine pages of fraudulent invoice faxed wasting MY paper and ink; no phone, no fax, no RECOURSE! San Diego California

We received this fax addressed to someone we don't know from a company we've never heard of. Annoyed at the waste of my paper and ink, but assuming it was sent to us in error, I looked for a fax number or a phone number to advise them of their error (I planned to fax the entire 9 pages back to them!).

Not finding either a phone or fax number, I immediately went online to search for some info on this company... and found that there were many more "victims" of this fraudulent invoice scam.

Does this work? Would anyone actually PAY an invoice addressed to someone else for this much money? And wouldn't the address have to be real for anything to be received? Assuming this actually works and someone actually pays, and the address is real, why can't this outfit be stopped???

Thanks for the opportunity to VENT... and I'll advise any potential victims I know to pull their paper out at the first page of anything faxed from this bogus company!
