On Thursday 6/20/2013 I purchased and Frigidaire refrigerator model FFHS2611LW7 Serial number 4A32107264 manufactured 5/13 from Lowes and they delivered and installed it on Saturday 6/22/2013.  On 6/9/2014 I opened the freezer and water spilled out across the kitchen floor because the unit quit cooling entirely.  I called the number listed on the information sticker inside of the unit 1-800-944-9044 and followed the voice prompts.  This led me to recordings from various service providers in my area.  Well I have been through the list and either they are no longer in business, do not answer the phone, or when a machine answers and you leave a message you never get a call back (to date I have not been able to make contact with any of the service providers who have recordings for my zip code).  So after a little over a week on 6/17/2014 after all efforts to contact a support provider had failed I finally called 1-800-944-9044 and hit zero to speak with a live person.  To my great surprise this option does not connect you with any kind of support but directs you to make a long distance toll call to 706-860-4110 where you find that customer support has very narrow office hours in the eastern time zone.  The narrow office hours leaves me as an only option to call during my lunch hour and apparently every single day that support has been open since 6/17/2014 they have been experiencing higher than usual call volumes and I can call back latter or hold on the line.  Well I hold the line until I can’t because I have to go back to work. 

At this point as far as I can tell there is no viable way to get support for a Frigidaire appliance, and anyone considering the purchase of a Frigidaire appliance should take into consideration that they can expect to spend a thousand dollars on a product that will not last a year and when it fails has no viable option available to receive support.
