Gainey Transportation Illegal Information Grand Rapids Michigan

Hi! I also work for Gainey Transportation at the present time and so far my complaints are those of running illegal log books and being told false information! I was told in oreination that we would get 150.00 week in advances but was failed to be informed that it went strickly for the truck and not for my own personal use.

I also never told that they dont cover tolls and wont reimburse u for tolls that u pay out of your pocket. I have been running from Chicago ,IL to Carlise ,Pa and there are nothing but tolls all the way across! I was making a delivery to Carlise, PA the other night and i ran out of money for tolls going across to delivery but when i got to the carlise exit on I76 turnpike in PA and went to exit the attendant told me 64.00 dollars and i didnt have it so he took down all my info from my D.L. and told me that i had 2 hours to get the money or he was gonna call the state police.

Well, i contacted the dispatch and told them i needed the money and do u know they told me they could not and would not give it to me. So i told them that they better find someone that could authorize it cause i was going to jail for anyone. And i finally got the money and then the next morning when my dispatch got in i got into trouble for asking for the money in the first place.

Now when i ask for the money he tells me that he cant give it to me and that they don't have ez pass for the trucks, so i flat out told him that i was avoiding all toll roads but i would make all there fuel stops.

I think this company should be put out of business and fined heavily for what they make the drivers do. I have a POS truck that has everything wrong that could be wrong but it runs great and i run 27 days at a time so getting an restart is almost impossibly.

And one more thing i don't like payroll is every 2 weeks. Outside these few complaints im still here driving!
