GE Money Bank Unscrupulous Activity Orlando Florida

A year and a half ago we contracted with Sears to re-do our kitchen. Our payments were to begin in 1 year. GE Money Bank started calling saying we had missed a payment. They didn't send a bill, I had to look them up online to get the address to send it too. This went on for several months where they didn't send a statement, all the while adding late charges. I would call, or they would call and they would promise to take off the late charges, then the next month we would go through it all again.

I was making payments all along, but every month they would call and say they were late. All of our payments were sent through our bank, so we have absolute proof they were made. In December I made the payment and GE sent it back to the bank, then charged me more late charges. I explained what hapened, faxed them all of the paperwork from our bank and they said it was taken care of. I re-sent the payment and it reached them on Jan 7, then I made my regular payment on January 15.

Today they called me to say I was late and had a $550.00 late charge. AND they raised my interest rate to 28%. I have always had really good credit, but they have ruined my credit and made it impossible to ever pay this off. I know they are doing this on purpose to get more money from us. None of the late charges have ever been removed. The interest payment is now higher than my monthly payment, so every month we go deeper into debt. They keep calling me and I have tried to get it straightened out for months with absolutely no response from them.

We are trying to sell our house so we can pay this off and get them off our back. The housing market in AZ is terrible. We are at the end of our rope with these people and they need to be exposed for the horrible company that they are.
