Gemselect / Sett company Ltd - gemselect.com advertises as being wholesale and offerinf wholesale prices, but they are not b2b! It is retail price for b2c and is very misleading. Even more misleading is that they are not even in the US! It's a Thailand company with no registered business in the USA.
I wanted to return an item and they asked me to send it back to them in Asia?! I wasn't about to pay $25 to return a $20 spinel gem. How did they even get accredited by the BBB if they aren't a US-registered business?
They pay 0 taxes here and yet they claim to be an American company. I feel cheated and scammed - and as jeweler, I expected them to have 'wholesale' prices for trade members (nope)!
