Please don't make the same mistake I made. I signed up with this company after their high-pressure sales pitch promising "HOT" leads. Now I am out $950.00; and all I have to show for it is a small handful of unverified and fraudulent "leads".
I do have a complaint pending with the Better Business Bureau, as well as the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to try and recoup my money. These people, in my opinion, prey on desperate Real Estate Agents facing a poor Real Estate market.
They couldn't even give me the names of people who are using their service successfully. Their sales pitch is very seductive; but DON'T FALL FOR IT.
Don't waste your money.
Here is a letter I wrote to the Attorney General of Pennsylvania.
When Getmyhomesvalue.com signed me up for their service, I was promised hot sales leads, prescreened and prequalified. What I got were bogus leads or leads that were not verified. Many of the people did not know who I was, was not expecting my call and did not want to buy or sell a home.
I signed up on the 22nd of June, 2007. Conveniently, this company has a policy that you must cancel your subscription before the 15th of the month for the succeeding month.
Since the 15th had passed, I was charged for July. I did not have the opportunity to cancel before the 15th of June, because I was signed up on the 22nd. I believe that this is a ploy on the part of this company to keep my money.
I contacted Getmyhomesvalue.com on June 29th to cancel my subscription via phone and email.. Neither method received a response , just an autoreply from customer service (please see attached emails).
I finally received a cancellation confirmation from _____ on July 16th (please see attached email).
My contention is that since I did not have the opportunity to cancel my subscription on the 15th of June, per company policy, my June 29th cancellation should be accepted; and my credit card reimbursed in the amount of $760.00. I am also out $190.00 for the month of June, which I should probably be reimbursed for , as well.
It is my opinion that this company uses deception to sign up Real estate agents to their service. They are taking advantage of desperate Agents who are working in a poor Real Estate market. I asked many times for the names of people who were successfully using their service in my area; and they refused to give me any.
Please refer to the attached emails and printouts. Note that this company has had many complaints on the website www.ripoffreport.com.
At the very least, this company does not provide any customer service. Calls and emails are unanswered or answered with autoreplys. The only live person I have talked to there is ____. She appears to be the only person who actually works there. Their operation is basically a boiler room sales operation that, in my opinion, exists to separate Real Estate Agents from their money with no real service provided.
Thank you, in advance ,for your attention to this matter. Please let me know if I can provide any further information. I have many pages of documentation that have been faxed to my credit card company for review. There is also a complaint pending with the Better Business Bureau.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
