Ok have to comment on this chip which when i saw it for 399.00 on the website and when i saw it for the lower price figured i would try it . I made the mistake of not goggling this and read comments after i purchased it ,

I tried it on my 02 Chrysler vehicle and spent more time sending emails back and forth to technical dept  , i have all emails to prove it for this chip didn't work  SNAKE OIL i did mention to the sales team about the comment on the web and they said it was other competitors bashing their product

Now i asked for my money back and they go from 30 day to 15 day money back guarantee so they are not gonna refund my money . I might add that they sent  another  chip still same results ZIP and after all BS excuses i figure i can advertise to not spend a dime on this product

I am also going to put a video on YOUtube also and every chance i get warn people bout this product

GForce Chips Very Hard To Deal With

AUTHOR: NewEd2112 - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 19, 2013

I do have experience with this company, so I will comment. I foolishly purchased a chip for my truck before doing research online. Yes, I know... never again!

Unlike others I found their tech support to be help full enough to get my chip installed... but I am a full time technician. The directions that came with the chip were useless, but it only took me one email to get the answers I needed.

My issue came when I decided I wasn't happy with the results of the product. I pulled the chip and packaged it up with all the unused pieces in the saved packaging... had a feeling I would be sending it back as I am a bit of a pessimist when it comes to "better mileage" claims. I followed, to the letter, their return policy. I used the product for over 100 miles, and within 14 days I called for the RMA. Paid for shipping that had tracking (UPS) per their suggestion and just thought everything would be fine.

Going through my bank statement I noticed that they had only credited my account for the original purchase price minus 25% (later found out that was for restocking). I picked up the phone and called, spoke to a representative who asked me if I used the product (apparently I sent it back in too good of shape... maybe I should have banged it up and smeared grease all over it). After talking to him about how I used it and was not happy, he told me that they had made a mistake and would correct it by crediting my account. Again, I thought I was all set. Looking for the balance owed to me to hit my account, two weeks go by. I emailed the company and as if not having read a word I typed, they were rude, used cut and paste to try and make their point that I had violated their return policy and that they were within their right to keep my 25%. I finally threatened to contact the Attorney General, the BBB, and post everything on boards like this one.

I did get my refund with a note stating the they were "making an exception this time". After reading all that I have now, I guess doing the right thing for them is the exception. Bottom line is that I did follow there rules and had to fight for my refund. Business must be tough that they need to be keeping my $17.00 Stay away from this company!

Buyer Beware!

AUTHOR: strom19 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, September 09, 2012
Please be advised, Should you fall for the false accusations that is promised by installing this G-Force Chip as I did be sure to read the fine lines in their return agreement before making a decision as follows.

If a customer refuses delivery or chooses to return an unused order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason, you will be subject to shipping costs to and from, as well as a 25% restocking fee. If you change your mind about your purchase, or feel you have ordered the wrong model, please accept shipment, contact us as shown above for an RMA, and return the product in that fashion. They say 100% guarantee but you'd better read the fine lines in their agreement.

Yes you read right......25% restocking fee even if you don't open the package as I did. These people are unscrupulous  and could care less.

Chips are for real...

AUTHOR: crew - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, June 09, 2012

Flyn,

I can't rebut the claim that Gforce chips are a scam, I've never purchased and I've read plenty of opinions elsewhere that claim Gforce chips do not work as advertised.  But you comment that the manufacturers would already optimize performance if possible is not accurate.  The after-market performance industry is well known for it's success improving engine performance in vehicles using chips (as well as other enhancements.)  The tell-tale sign on these chips is the price, they advertise virtually the same stats for all vehicles, their claim that anyone can install these in fifteen minutes, and they state that warranties will not be impacted.

Check out sites such as (((redacted))) for legitimate options.  (I am not affiliated with this site, it is one I am familar with.)

Just like psychics.

These "magic chips" that make cars do amazing things only work if the buyer believes it works.  Much like fortune tellers.

If you could unleash amazing power or economy merely through programming, why wouldn't the manufacturer have done it?

There are narrow applications where a program change might beneficially alter performance, but it's not something that would benefit a normal street driven vehicle.

To be fair, I have no specific info about this particular vendor.   It's just that I've never actually seen a "magic chip" that ever lived up to its claims.    They are a real hoot to test out if you have access to a dyno.  Most of them make your car run worse than the stock programming.
