Global Tel Link This company has the monopoly on pre paid collect calls for correctional facilities, the service is faulty and the company hardly ever gives a refund even though their equipment malfunctions constantly Mobile Alabama

My husband is incarcerated in the county jail and I have a voip home telephone and it doesn't support collect calls....so I have to use the prepaid service through Global Tel Link.....well their telephones hardly work properly...sometimes it disconnects on its own, statics, an automated voice says it has detected a three way call and hangs up even though there is no three way call in progress. When I call customer service they say they have to do a work order and it can take 3-5 days before a refund is given if another department approves it. The money is never refunded and I have no choice but to use their service...I spend about 75 dollars a week with this company. I've filed complaints with the BBB and they will not do anything if you have to file a second complaint about the same things that happen more than once. I am so frustrated and will file with the FCC. I am so frustrated with this company for not providing quality service or refunds due to their telephones malfunctioning...If there is a class action lawsuit will someone please contact me!!
