Global warranty Global warranty/ Don't waste your money charlottetown canada

 Considering purchasing Global warranty? Don't do it!!!!!

I recently purchased a 2008 grand caravan from a used car lot in charlottetown and also purchased the Global warranty to go along with it in hopes that it would some day pay off for me to spend the extra 2000 dollars for the warranty 

 . Only six months and less then 17000 km's later the day soon came to dig out my warranty papers when the transmission crapped the bed. Now After being with out a vehicle for over a week and counting Global had finally came to a decision that they will purchase a used transmission for 450 dollars with around 150,000 km's on it somewhere in Ontario and take the extra four days they told me it would take to ship it and instead of fixing the problem they opted to put a band-aid on it and save them selves a couple hundred dollars which was still going to cost me somewhere around 500 out of my pocket cause they refuse to pay the tow bill,the diagnoses,The fluid to go into the new(used) transmission and other items this on top of my 150 deductible to use the warranty.

  I am not sure how they plan on finding the problem with out a diagnoses and I really can not figure out how they figure that they can put a transmission in the van and yet not put new fluid in it Amongst other things these are just a few I found very crooked and cheap of Global and one more example of screwing the customer over. 

 When I spoke with the sales rep from global for pei the response I got was that this is the cheapest way they found to "fix" the problem and there is nothing else they are going to do for me the customer. 

 As well when I mentioned to him that it is not a good idea to put a used transmission with that many km's on it in a Dodge van that is known to have transmission problems to start with his response was that "I should have known better then to buy a dodge in the first place. This is the professionalism us as the customer gets from Global!!!! 

I hope that any individual that is considering to purchase Global warranty reads this as well many other complaints online that I found after it was to late about global as well I hope that any dealer that is pushing these warranty's on unaware people take this into consideration whether the few dollars they get back from Global kick back is worth screwing over their customers just as Global does.
