Gorilla Capital Barry Tompkins Retraction
AUTHOR: Victor - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, August 16, 2010
To Barry Tompkins whom I have never personally met or even spoken to I wish to extend an apology for the negative comments I have made against him. Once Barry was aware of our situation he extended an offer of finding us a home so we would not be left out on the street.
I am greatful for this act of generosity and apologize for any detrimental comments that were directed at him.
I would also like to extend an apology to Gorilla Capital in general for statements that were of my own opinion at the time, particularly those putting them in the category of the "type that created the real estate bubble that just burst" and "creating a new real estate bubble".
These and other statements were made as an emotional response to another emotional response within our household and my hostility was directed at them for the anguish that I saw.
Having recently lost a dream home to the economic downturn we have all experienced has made me become bitter and cynical to the point of frustration that was expressed in this posting.
As it is the policy of this site not to remove postings I can only offer this retraction and apology to Barry Tompkins and Gorilla Capital. Please accept this in the sincere spirit in which it is offered.
