My husband and I went to purchase our first home, with our realtor through a company by the name of Gorilla Capital here in Florida. This foreclosure company has properties all over the U.S. and apparently the owners are very well off.
However, it deeply bothers me that when my husband and I went into the contract to buy one of the listed properties from this company, they did own the title to the property...and was selling it anyway. As a result of the company not owning the proper title to this home our financing fell through!
But the worst part is they kept our $2000.00 deposit that we put in the property. It really makes me wonder if this company is so lucretive, how are they really making all of thier profits? There has been many consumers attempting to complain according to my research yet all of their efforts have been thrashed!
I am really seeking justice not only for myself and my husband but for anyone else that this has happened to. And I want to prevent this from happening in the future!

I wanted to take a moment to point something out, Gorilla Capital closed their Florida office. Gorilla Capital did not own the title to the property that they stole our money on back two years ago...I am sad to say that this company built on greed, selfishness and taking away from hard working people, but I guess that is the definition of capitalism at it's finest. Still no valid response for why they kept our money, but this will get resolved, I am sure!
