I was called at home back in FEBRUARY insisting that I had $5,000.00 gaurantied and all I needed to do was provide them my checking account number. They told me all I had to do was let them draft $250.00 and in approximately a month later I would be provided a grant kit and login information,so I could get my $5,000.00 in free money.

I fell for this ripoff and did tell them they could withdraw the money in March.

They also wanted a check number and I gave them one. They told me I could get into their website, but could not do anything until I received the packet with information needed to get my $5,000.00!

I do my banking online and after doing some research, I decided that this was most likely a scam! So I sent my bank an e-mail asking them to put a stop payment on the check number that I provided. My bank replied to my e-mail and told me that most likely they would draft the money using electronic draft and the check number most likely wouldn't be used.

I even called the people a couple of days later and told them I wanted to cancel my order, but they told me that I couldn't because I agreed to this on a recording. They also kept telling me that I was already approved to receive the $5,000.00 and to not worry because this was gauranteed!

They waited longer than I told them to withdraw the money because I told them I had contacted my bank and put a stop payment on the check number I gave them. They successfully got the $250.00 by using the the automatic debit method.

So,I waited approximately a month and contacted them again @ ph# 866-416-0639. They told me I should receive the information soon and if I didn't to give them a call back.

Needless to say I never received anything from them and now if you call 866-416-0639 you are connected to a obscene phone sex hotline or a busy signal!

I was very stupid to fall for this scam and lost $250.00 because of it. I still have this phone number, date, and time I was called on my caller ID.

What I don't have is $250.00!!!! I wish I could get them back, by suing them. But, all I have is the phone number!!
If anyone knows who or where with some information I sure would file a lawsuit!!
