Guardsman Furniture Protection Is A RIPOFF!!! Don't purchase this! They will find every excuse in the book to not cover your claim! Grand Rapids Michigan

My wife purchased a fairly expensive sofa from Ethan Allen and purchased the Guardsman protection at the same time. About two months ago, out cat got locked out the room where we keep her box, and she decided the sofa was as good a place as any to pee. This was on a Thursday. My daughter's 6th birthday party was Saturday, at our house. I scrambled first thing Friday to have someone come clean the sofa cushions. I found someone locally that came by and did a horrible job. That's another ripoff report for another time. That night, my wife remembered about the Guardsman and found where it covers pet bodily fluids. We've been in constant contact with them, informing them day 1 that we had another company come out to clean the sofa, and that they didn't need to waste their time or money because the urine stain and smell wasn't coming out. They've still be constantly trying to schedule a time to clean the sofa. We keep telling them that we already had it cleaned and that they just need to come look at it. They've stood us up numerous times on supposed "appointments" to come looks a the cushions. Finally after almost two months of going back and forth, they tell us they don't cover urine odors, just stains from bodily fluids. We tell them there are stains from bodily fluids, and they tell us that could be from the other cleaning company and they aren't covering it. And that we need to have the other company come clean it again.

This has got to be one of the biggest scams going. These idiots are rip off artists and take your money with absolutely no intent of ever honoring a claim. Keep your money and deal with any issues out of pocket, because that's what you'll end up doing anyway.
