Guitar Center Pro-gear warranty Pro-gear "replacement warranty" is a ripoff. Miami Nationwide

 I purchased a New Numark Mixer from Guitar Center on line  and picked up the unit in their store on kendall drive in Miami Florida. I had bought on line  at the same time  a 24 month replacement  warranty.

I did not open the package for about 3 months when  I did the unit was Dead out of the box. I took the unit back to the store i picked it up from and was told  " Contact Numark they will repair the unit for you" . So much for "replacement",   I was also told that that the Guitar Center warranty  is effective only after the Manufacturer warranty expires.  I waited a full year and again took my brand new  unused unit back to the store and was once again passed off to call a toll free number that "handles Guitar Center" warranty including Replacement warranty.

All they offered was to send a prepaid label to return the unit to them and they would send me a Guitar center Gift Card for the cost of the item.

The term replacement is just a "name" for their warranty I was told. The amount offered  is not enough to buy The same unit today plus I dont really want to buy anything ever again from these National Con men.
